We're Finally In!

We are finally in our new place~ and it is *B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L*! We are working very hard to get it ready and we just know you will love visiting us!

We should be ready for visitors by Monday, August 16th!

Moving Day~ Almost Here!

Well folks~ the BIG MOVING DAY is almost here! Our office is packed and we're ready to go!
We will be moving on Friday, July 30.  We hope to be in our new office space by Friday, August 13!

Child Fest 2010 a BIG Success!!

Thank you to everyone who came out to make Child Fest 2010 a BIG Success! Everyone had a great time!

We would also like to thank all the vendors that came out to support Child Fest 2010~ You all had great information to give out and had awesome activities!!

We would also like to thank all the committee members, donors, and sponsors that helped make Child Fest 2010 a very BIG Success!! Without you we couldn't have made it what it was!!

Child Fest~

Make plans now to attend the annual Child Fest event!

This year it will be held at the Abundant Life Outreach Church located in Spruce Pine!

Child Fest will be Saturday, April 17 from 10:00 - 2:00. 

There will be so much to do! Hope to see you there!

Snow on the ground, snow on the ground, everybody get out and play in the snow on the ground!!

Guess I've been watching too much American Idol~ but seriously!!

GET OUT AND PLAY IN THE SNOW!!

What a great way to exercise while playing!! Tired of the same old "roll a ball in the snow" to make snow people?! Get the sand buckets out and make "Snow Castles"! If you don't have any we have some in our lending library! Just ask us for the sand molds!

Don't forget... you can also use the plastic shoe boxes if you want to make a snow fort.

But if you just have to make something out of a snowball.. just make a bunch and lay them on the ground and make a snow caterpillar!

Either way~ GET OUT AND PLAY IN THE SNOW!!

We have been very busy at the Mitchell-Yancey Child Care Resource & Referral office! In October we helped host a Kids Check screenings, in November we were busy at the Yancey Co. Ornament Festival, and in December we were busy at the Mitchell Co. Winter Fest! Now we're into a new year with many new ways to promote Early Childhood Education!

Be sure to stop by the CCR&R office and learn new and fun ways to use the Ellison die cut machine! We have lots of fun ways to enhance your bulletin boards at your child care center or at home!

We also have many fun Winter Kits to check out as well as winter books. Get a jump start on Valentines day by checking out all the fun book on that Special Day! And don't forget to ask us how to make Chocolate Playdough!

We are also getting ready for a fun and exciting Child Fest! ~more on that to come~
